The crowd...

What happened today? I've heard SJP be louder at halftime than it was during the majority of the 90 minutes. I can't really criticise anyone for not singing because I'm one of those peopl who only joins in when it gets to a certain noise level around me. But it was very strange. Perhaps there were less ST holders there today, around me there were a lot of new faces. Or maybe we have just been spoiled with the recent important matches against Arsenal, Sunderland and Liverpool and just weren't too excited by the prospect of Newcastle vs Ipswitch?

Guilty as charged Jim. I'm afraid my seat was taken up by Pilgrim or Pilgrim Jr. Clearly, neither can sing as loud (or as badly) as me.

Guilty as charged Minnie! No one around me was singing (Apart from "Where's the Screacher Gone?" and I'm not brave enough to start chants with my ropey voice.

Your right though - the crowd were awful yesterday -only came to life when the Tractors started singing anti-Shearer songs.

Me and my boy joined in with the sporadic and infrequent chants, him being only 6yo probably embarrased the bloke behind me to join in but that didn't make much difference )c:
