Hey Lil' Bit, which article is it? I'd like to read it ~~ Thanks!

How are the goats?!! Anymore "middle of the night" babies? ((grin....

-- Wendy@GraceAcres (wjl7@hotmail.com), March 16, 2002.

What middle of the night baby goats???!!! Are you holding out on us? And yes, I read about this a few weeks back and it sure is a good indication of where we are prophetically. Thanks for the link!

-- Doreen (bisquit@here.com), March 16, 2002.

No! Praise the Lord no more four o'clock in the morning babies! That one goat that I almost lost was enough for me!!! Let me tell you a delivery at four in the morning is bad enough, but it is even worse when the kid dies, and you almost lose the mom too.

The article is about the recent Palestinian state that was voted on by the UN Security council last week. Doreen I figured you would find it interesting that no president until George Bush Jr. has supported the formation of a Palestinian State including Clinton. Very interesting. I also noted that this decision seems to be supported by Israel. Very Very interesting.

I'm glad to hear the doe came through- it has been a rough year in the kidding department for lots of folks.

Yes, I sure do find it interesting that Bush is doing a WHOLE lotta things that even King Bill didn't have the audacity to do. Too many people were carefully watching Bill, they almost all fell asleep when Geo came on board. Not good at all. To me the Israeli support on this is odd. I need to read that more thouroughly...if so it would be the 7 year treaty without a doubt.

Pardon my biblical state of ignorance, but what's the big deal about President Select Strangelove supporting a Palestinian state? Sounds like a good idea to me. First intelligent thing he's said in since I "met" him.

Is this something from Revelations, or what?

-- joj (jump@off.c), March 16, 2002.

Yes, Joe. There will be a peace treaty signed between Israel and others, but particularly the AntiChrist. Upon the signing of that treaty there is a time line of 7 years. There are different ways that people read it, but all agree on a seven year treaty marking the start of the tribulation. It will seem like a good idea, but it will be a very bad thing...ah well.

The book is called Revelation, no s. Lots of folks say Revelations and for some reason it really bugs me.:). No slamming intended, but just to let you know the proper title.

-- Doreen (bisquit@here.com), March 17, 2002.

I'd caution that I don't think anybody ever gets it right when interpreting Revelations, Daniel, Isiah. In general O.K., but the personalities, incidents, and governments involved seem to always be wrongly pegged. Its fun to speculate but there is a whole lot "sealed up". So, George may not be satan incarnate, and the creation of a Palestinian state may not fortell the Armageddon or even be bad. Remember, these folks are descendents of Abraham also and will also be dealt with providentially.

Actually my KJV has it listed as "The Revelation of St. John the Divine". (Jest pickin', Doreen.) ;^j

IMHO, I get as far as "A Dream of John" and than I call for Joseph to be reincarnated for he is the only acurate dream interpreter that ever got one right. How many generations have claimed --the end is near ? Everyone of them !! Face the Facts--only God knows and he promised a 24 hour warning. Remember ? The moon will turn to blood and for the entire world to see it that will take twenty four hours. Plenty of time to repent, right ? Don't you believe it !

Also --there are 28 more books of the bible that the Pope had removed from the bible or had his monks remove them. Maybe you should read them and decide for yourself why they were removed. They are not dreams !

Joel, there wasn't a Bible until the canonization. There were scriptures. The Catholic bible contains five books called the Apocrypha which are not in line with the harmony of scripture inherent in the rest of the Bible so they were not cannonized. There isn't anything wrong with reading extra biblical scripture, but I do truly believe that all that we need to know and the word of God is preserved in the 66 books of the bible. I don't worry about the Pope...he has his own agenda. I also know from personal experience that when you have questions and truly seek to understand what God is saying that when you are ready to understand it He will show it to you. This is truly seeking to know what God is saying, not trying to use the Bible to prove YOUR point....or to try to make God give the answer you want.

We will know whether we are in the Tribulation long before the moon turns to blood. We won't know when Christ comes back for the battle until we see it...IF we are here for that.:).

Yes, the "Revelation of Jesus Christ to Saint John the Divine" is the long title of the book!!!;)

-- Doreen (bisquit@here.com), March 18, 2002.

I'm sure there are lots of extra scriptures (books of the Bible, etc.) floating around (as in kept in someone's vault) that we don't know about, or that were destroyed (Did you know that mummies were so plentiful in Egypt they were used for fuel?). If you're cold, you'll burn anything that will burn to keep warm.

But this also leads to another interesting question: Would you want to be around for the end of the world and see it happen, or would you want to go beforehand?

Hey, Doreen, I'm not attached (at all!), but I'd always heard it called "Revelations" With an "es". I can't seem to locate my Honey's Bible, so I did a google search, and it seems to be called "Revelations" on all the sites that came up there (the first ten sites, that is!--I didn't go to all gazillion sites). Here's a typical link:

http://weblicity.com/freedom/bible/RE_13.html

NEVERTHELESS, Doreen, in order to keep you happy, I'll try to remember your preferred spelling. Gotta keep our "good thing" going for as long as possible!

Hey guys I am new here but I am trying to find out all I can about revelation (notice no S hehehe) and you guys seem to be pretty on to it. I think I am freaking myself out by reading the left behind series of books, I've always beena bit scared of the end of the world and everything.

-- Loral Morrison (persnickity_@hotmail.com), March 08, 2003.

I'm new to Christianity and was curious... where in the Bible does it mention the seven year treaty?

-- Jeff Rohr (rohr00@hotmail.com), May 04, 2003.

Hey there new folks,:)- don't freak out about it....It's really a GOOD thing. See when Christ returns we will live in an actually just world and everyone (literally) will know he is Lord.

This board is pretty inactive any longer, but there are plenty of studies available on line that might help you to understand a bit more. Google is the best search engine I know of, so I reccommend it.
