A bit of an explanation.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Raising meat rabbits for profit : One Thread

I think I may need to explain myself a little better incase I ever seem off beat .My name is Patty I live in NOrthern NY on 140 a farm .I am married with 4 children .Until 6 months ago we had large livestock cows, pigs ,sheep ect.About 1.5 years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus .Thank God cause I thought I was going crazy , at least I have a reason for feeling like crap . My main problems are major joint pain and back pain .At this point I have no organ involvement and consider myself very lucky .I am thrilled to death to be getting into rabbits , the are a size I can manage. If I every seem goofy it may be because I have taken alot of medication that day or I sometimes suffer from what we call brain fogs .Basically I am an airhead and forget things , even little every day things .So please try to bear with me.

At least, you have a good excuse for "brain fogs!" Mine is just plain old AGE! LOL

It's funny thats what I said , see I really do have a reason why I forget things or don't make sense.

Patty, I have a neighbor who has lupus. Sge is an avid horswoman and manages a dairy farm with her husband. You can do it. I am a very strong believer that you have to have a strong mind and then you can accomplish anything. We are rooting for you.

Rabbits are perfect for people like us. I have fibromyalgia and can't handle heavy lifting or long hours. I also have major brain fog. My family says I should have been born blond. I wish! I forgot my sisters birthday party 2 hours after we talked about it. Luckily she knows me and called when I was a few minutes late. Think happy thoughts! :)
