Eh? Phillips NEVER gets injured.

2 years ago he got an injury at their Christmas party falling off a table by all accounts. They lost every game he was missing then. Just when we could have done with them taking the wind out of Chelsea's sails. Still, every cloud has a silver lining.

Didn't he also get injured in bed, once, too?

I have a feeling they'll maybe get a draw at Chelsea tomorrow, partly because of Chelsea's famous flakiness against lower-placed teams and partly because Sunderland have a decent record against them generally.

Only if you count Chris Makin nailing antlers to his head...

Call me petty if you like, but I am not one of these 'I want all the NE teams to do well' types. I would like to see Sunderland dumped into the Mickey Moose league. It's looking likely now because Sunderland are sh*te with Sooper never mind without him.
I remember Mackums taking the piss at the start of the season because we couldn't sell our season tix. How many will they sell this year I wonder?

Not sure anyone's advocated they wanted the makems to do well. I quite like our derby games, but I also like seeing them relegated, and I also like the idea that by winning they help us out.

On balance, I'd be happy to see the makems win if it helped NUFC.
