I was one of the ones who was most loudly saying that she would go off and start her new cult. And I remember all of the "silly women" in the forum saying oh no, that won't happen, after all look at her fruit. Well we can plainly see her fruit now. I'm sorry I was right.

WOW!!!

And people wonder why Paul was being "so mean" by saying not to allow women to teach men or exercise authority in the church. What an ugly result!

Danny,

This article might make a good addition to your "Cults" Class material. Most of the time we study them from a historical perspective - but this is a chance to see it happen on a "Real Time" basis - a great practical lesson!

I'm trying to get a "printer friendly" version, or a direct email from them with that series of lessons ... if I do I'll make it available for anyone who wants it. And ... if anyone else gets a version like that, let me know so I can get it from you!

Herre's a couple of web sites of interest to Gwen's stuff ...

http://www.midwestoutreach.org/oldindex.html http://www.newschannel5.com/news/investigates/weighdown/weigh2.htm

At the original site above you can sign up to receive their newsletter, which is pretty good. I have an acrobat reader copy of the winter issue which has some stuff re: Shamblin.

I will be adding this cult to my Religious Cultism classnotes.

I just want to clarify that Shamblin's "Remnant Fellowship" has nothing to do with The Remnant initiative based in Arizona, OK?
