Has Leica, or anyone else, ever offered a 40mm lens in LTM?

I believe Olympus/Zuiko offered a LTM 40mm back in the '50s.

Wasn't there a Summicron and an Elmarit 40mm for the CL and a Rokkor for the CLE?

LTM. Oops...sorry.

Leica did not, at least no 40mm LTM lenses show up in Hove. I did a Google search with "40mm" and "LTM" and got a LUG reference to an Olympus Zuiko 40/2.8 LTM. The closest alternatives available new I know of would be Cosina-Leica LTM 35mm lenses and the limited production Pentax 43/1.9.

Thanks for the answers. I just like that length. BTW, here's a Zuiko LTM 40 on ebay (no connection): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1339380213
