What do edgar allen poe and roderick have in common? my la teacher named her fake raven on the wall roderick and if you can figure out where she got that name from then you get extra points

Roderick Usher from "The Fall of the House of Usher". The narrator and Roderick were students together. Roderick bears some resemblance to Poe(high forehead, nervous nature, health problems, artistic tendencies) but is not be EQUATED to Poe. The dialogue between Raven and narrator and Usher and narrator are two of many psychological confrontations in Poe. Roderick had white hair, the Raven was black.
