EOS3000N switch off

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Canon EOS FAQ forum : One Thread

I've just bought an EOS3000N. When i switch off the EOS3000N, the display don't switch off, i can always read the available pictures number. Is it the right behaviour? Could you say me if this fact impact on the batterie's life ?

Thanks for your help. Dams

This is normal. An LCD uses very little power. If you're not going to use the camera for a while, your manual tells you to remove the battery.
