Olympus T-32 flash with M6 Classic

I know that similar topics have come up.

All I want to know is whether a T-32 flash will not only work, but whether it will damage my M6. I have a Sunpak flash with 1 pin that works without a problem, but yet many people say that you can't use Nikon flashes. Is that only with TTL versions?

The T-32 is a nice little flash with built in bounce capability. It would be ace to use it on my M6.

Olympus makes a very nice little extension gadget that raises the flash about five inches, and clamps on at the camera end. It's a great red-eye avoider. It preserves the TTL connections, but you're on AUTO mode anyway. (Actually, I may be thinking of the T-20, but doesn't the head come off the T-32?)

You'll of course use the T-32 in ordinary Auto, not TTL.

The M6 Classic has no flash electronics that could be damaged, so you could use any flash you like. Specific to the T-32, the flash has a small tab on the foot that actually retracts the TTL and readylight contacts as the flash is attached to or removed from a camera plus those contacts are held retracted if the camera's shoe doesn't have the appropriate slot.
