I read a couple of suggestions on the w/e that Gary Caldwell is looking minded to stay with Hibs rather than return to us. Are there are noises to this effect in Scotland?

Be an awful shame to lose him without his ever playing in the first team...

I haven't seen anything, but he's still getting reasonable write ups. Edinburgh would mean he'd be less than half an hour from mum's home cooking though.

Hibs have been hopeless since McLeish left and they went for the unplanned/not thought through promotion from within. The new manager will tighten things up, make them a better side, but it woudl show lack of ambition if he stayed. (He says in a truly arrogant English way). I'd expect him to come back and doing a Bernard and pushing for a first team place, he's only 19 for gods sake
