YIPPY KI AYE KI OH! :~) :~D I have received ALL of the swaps in now! I will finish up the sorting today and package them up! Tomorrow I will be sending them back to you! I hope that you are pleased with them all. There are everything imaginable in the way of material in there! Such fun! Keep in touch all and maybe in the Fall we can do that flannel swap!? I had such a good time doing this. Now that we have this figured out.....we might as well try it again in the fall after everyone has their garden in and harvested! Can't wait to hear what everyone did with their squares! Lots of God's blessings to all, Nan

I would be interested in hearing some ideas for putting the squares together - does anyone have any to share? Thanks to everyone. I can't wait to get mine.

Well, we got them all sorted and put into the mailing envelopes! Everyone will get at least 70. I am so thankful that everyone came through on this! What excellent participation! I betcha that those that dropped out will be sorry that they did! We have all sorts of squares in there! Every color under the rainbow and only a few alike! I have really had fun with this! I will get these off in the mail to you tomorrow! If someone doesn't get theirs in a few days for priority mailers or a week regular mail please let me know. They should be there by the end of this week or the first of next (depending on how they were sent). Take care all! You will know me if you see me....I will be the one with little strings hanging off of my sweater from sorting all of those squares! heeheehee! ;~)!

I'm excited too, I'm cleaning out my sewing room this week, getting my mending done and making up some pants for my daughter so that when my squares come in I can play with a "clear conscience"

I went to the library today and got some quilt books to get ideas. I love the old scrap quilts and the autograph type quilts but who knows what I'll do when I get the squares. I wish there was some way we could see each others projects!

Definatly count me in if you do the flannel swap in the fall-I have lots of flannel to share-I do lots of flannel pajamas for my crew in the winter and just couldn't get rid of the scraps-I have a rubber maid tub full of flannel pieces!

Thank you so much Nan, for getting us all organized, and for your e- mails and progress notes-I appreciate all youve done on this project.

Well now, I was NOT going to get in to this because I have a half a million projects going but when Nan told me someone had dropped out I said a VERY reluctant yes. Now all of the sudden I am very excited about it and can't hardly wait for the squares to come. Go figure!! I am thinking it might be fun to cut the unsigned squares into quarters and then piecing them around the autographed squares.

With three little children, I knew I wouldn't have the time to do this but I'm very interested in hearing about your projects. Would there be any way ya'll could post photos to share with the rest of us? Maybe have them all sent to someone with a scanner and computer know-how? I know I'm not the only one living vicariously through you all and this project and would LOVE to see the finished quilts!

I almost dropped out because of so many things going on that I didn't think I'd have time to do it. When I saw the post on the 7th that we still had time, I stayed up till about 1:00 am washing, ironing and cutting. I guess I should start now on the flannel so I will be ready for the fall swap! I am thinking of embroidering my name and state instead of writing it so it won't wash out. I wanted to do it with these but just didn't have time. By the way, that would be with my sewing machine and not by hand. I can't wait to get my squares!!!

You all are very very welcome! I have received many blessings by this swap! It has been fun! Oh...a funny one.....I licked so many envelopes today to get them mailed off that I was talking funny! Boy are those little peel and stick goomers nifty! :~P< Let me know when you all get yours! That will make me feel good to know that they arrived safe and sound! Thanks to you all~! I would love to do this again in the fall! Sounds fun! Don't forget to keep us posted on what you have done with yours.

Oh I'm excited! I love going through fabric! I'm already getting ready for the flannel swap-went to wally world this weekend and they had a bunch on clearance(1-2 bucks if anyone's interested)-all the fabric I have and only one piece of flannel until now. When you all are ready for it I could host if no one minds.(I'd love to sort it all out). Now to get my ufo's out of the way so I can work on this one with a clear mind.
