There are sections on Ebbinghaus in most history of psychology textbooks. You might try E.G. Boring's (1929/1950). It is dated, but he gives more biographical information than most. There is also a short article on Ebbinghaus in L. Zusne's _Biographical Dictionary of Psychology_ (1984). Accorsding to Zusne, there are biographical articles about him by L. Postman (Amer. Psychologist, 1968, 23, 149-157); D. Shakow, (Amer. J. Psych., 1930, 42, 505-518); and R.S. Woodworth (J. Phil., 1909, 6, 253-256).
