Difference between Elan7e and EOS 30

I know that there is a difference between the Europe models and the American ones ( like EOS 5 and the EOS A2E - The flesh doesn't pop automaticaly and there is a differnce in the view finder displayed information )

Is there any difference between the Elan7e and the EOS 30.

Pls try to answer A>S>A>P i need to order the camera soon. 10x a lot Raz

Answers

According to EOS Magazine they are identical. EOS 30 = Elan 7e. EOS 33 = Elan 7.

The only camera where there has been a difference was the EOS 5/A2e. There are a few oddities (like the A2...there was no non-eye control version of the EOS 5 elsewhere), but other than that occurance, the models are the same, except for the name on them. Current and recent models:

EOS 300 = Rebel 2000 EOS 50e/50 = Elan IIe/II EOS 55 = Elan IIe in black with panorama feature (may not have been sold in US) EOS 30/33 = Elan 7e/7 EOS 5 = Not officially sold in North america EOS A2e/A2 = Not officially sold outside north america

Pro models (EOS 1s, EOS 3) are the same.
