Weather in Newcastle

It's about 3 inches deep in snow in Consett.

What's it doing in Newcastle?

There's a chance they'll cancel the buses here (on account of the hills). Assuming I do get to Newcastle, is there any chance of a postponement?

It's sleety here, but nothing lying on the ground. A waterlogged pitch is the only possibility of a postponement - it's fairly light right now.

Drove home from Kewsick in The Lakes this morning through a virtual white-out - not a lot of fun.

Hey Man Doug, doesn't it always have 3 inch of snow in Consett? June, July all year round isn't it? ;-)

Cheeky get, it was sunny of August 27 th last year. I remember that distinctly.

The pitch looked OK on Football Focus. No snow, just rain. Why don't they put a cover on? Impractical because too heavy?, nowhere to store it?, nowhere to collect the run-off?
