UNION MILLWRIGHTS:

BROTHER'S AND SISTER'S In the last few days I have received a lot of e-mail about Millwrights that has been wonderful. I have seen Millwrights take there lunch period's to teach other journeyman and apprentices how to set up optical equipment correctly and the explain the basics. I have seen Millwrights stay late after their shift (with the companies permission) to help Millwrights to learn and practices other skills. We are only as strong as we make ourselves That means that we need to share our knowledge with our Union Brothers and Sisters. Mentoring:

"Our member's willingness to continually upgrade and share their skills is what separates us from the competition."

"Brotherhood is: defined as a fraternity of men with a common interest and creed. We have a very strong Brotherhood."

"Remember we are the Trade of all Trades"

"Mentoring is: the process in which journeyman Millwrights go out of their way to help other Millwrights to develop their skills."

"There is no better joy than to give back to that, which has been given to you"

"The ability to provide assistance creates an environment to promote Brotherhood and Unionism. It is both rewarding and empowering. "

" By stepping forward to accept this challenge, you have shown the spirit needed for growth and survival in the new millennium."

Does your hall have a Mentoring program? Can you except this challenge? Are you a can do Millwright? Where do you want our Union to be in the Future? It is up too us to make our CRAFT live. Unity Ron Oliver www.unionmillwright.com
