Chris Dale and his business partner Philip Tomalin of Kiln Refractory Services managed to outbid everyone else for the Shearer shirt with a bid of £1,000 and Ace Vauxhall walked away with the van Nistelrooy shirt for a cool £310. Speaking of his desire for the Shearer shirt Mr. Dale said; "Owning a signed Alan Shearer shirt is something I've always wanted as I've admired him both as a player and as the captain of England. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it and the £1,000 was money well spent in my opinion." *************
