I thought that under the circumstances -- the circumstances being that there was little protection from the midfield -- Distin had a very good game last night. Last Saturday we lacked the ability to counteract Viera, who I think dictated the play for long periods. This Saturday, I would like to see Distin using his considerable talents to neutralize Viera ( if that is possible). Distin to replace Speed and Bernard in for Robert.

Distin was sound last night. I can't believe how poor Robert was, what a wasted talent!! Minimal effort, no return. The fecker should be dropped for saturday. As a comfort to everyone on this board I will no longer be predicting any scores as they have been very wrong the last two times I've tried. Every time there was a mistake last night a liverpool player was there, especially for the second goal.
