Thursday Morning Weight check in!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

Hi everyone, how is everyone doing on the weight loss and healthy living goals? I hope many are finding success. I stayed the same again! I know what my trouble was so I am going to work harder this week. I seem to go several weeks with no loss, then I will lose 3-4 pounds at once...strange I think!! Well everyone sign in and let us know your progress, and keep thinking positively. I think the most important part is to THINK, before you eat, and try to exercise more!

Melissa - Remember slow and steady wins the race! I'm down another pound this week...seem to be setting a trend here.

Stayed the same, but not discouraged. (NOTHING can discourage me after going 5-7 weeks without losing anything!)

I am starting to feel different. Cutting down on the sugar has been a good thing, Still drinking lots of water, doing aerobics 3 times a week and yoga twice a week.

Being able to get on the scale once a week and even discuss this with my husband has been a real step for me, so thanks, Melissa, for starting it. Support does make a difference.

Good luck, everyone.

I've given up....I get way to crabby! My new philosophy is: "fat and happy or skinny and crabby"! I gave the choice to my family - they voted for fat and happy cause when momma's not happy...no one is happy..LOL!

I stayed the same ughhhhhhh.

Karen - don't give up, change your focus.

Excercise. Take hot baths with epsom salts or bubbles. You'll raise your metabolism, and clear your system of toxins, and impurites.

Eat any food you want to, just be conscious of what and how much you eat. Try to eat meals with foods from a variety of food groups together to insure proportionate amounts of fat, protien and carbohydrates. Be sure to measure all foods that you eat)

Whatdya think. Hope you don't mind the thoughts.

As for my excercise.....I'm icing my knee, hoping to get the bike out for a spin today- before the blizzard whips by to the North of us. tonight.

I want to thank Melissa for starting this in the first place. Since we started I have lost 30 pounds and feel great. I haven't deprived myself or anything. I am moving more, taking the long way, walking stairs, more veggies, less meat, less bread. If I want something sweet I make me a sweet coffee(something I won't give up!!!). I haven't felt this good about myself since before my son was born and he is 6. I am going out more with friends on the weekends. It's simple changes that make the biggest difference. Again, thanks Melissa, I owe you!!!!!!!!!!God BLess
