Positive thinking...another jinx busted!

Cos Owen did'nt score!

Ok I'm clutching at straws. We aren't going to win the league, thats for sure but I'm not too despondent about last night. Saturday is a different matter though. It's the biggest game of the whole season. We must win it so that we progress in the cup, giving ourselves a great chance of winning it, and it will also lift the morale for the run in and the battle for a champions league place.

If we lose our season might collapse. And I soo much want us to win the cup. If we lose on Saturday I will be gutted, so I hope the players realise how important this game is.

Howay Bobby lets rally the troops!

Sorry Andy - I really can't see how we can win the game on Saturday. Arsenal want to win at least the double and have got the cup in their sights. They have a big squad and so even if Wenger rotates players in view of their CL game, we are seriously understrength in midfield.

I just want Saturday over and then hope we can get as many points as we need from our remaining 10 games.

I know, I'm think the same myself but it does'nt change my feelings about how important it is.

Can someone up 'there' please let our name be on a trophy for once? Pleeeaasseee!!

I agree with you Lynda, I might not even watch that Cup game (prob. will though!). I'm kinda deflated today, no sleep didn't help matters much either - a win on Saturday will obviously give a big lift to the team and all us supporters.

Unfortunately, for the 3rd. game running, I'm very low on optimism :-(

Be optimistic!

My brother's mate is going to the game. He has been to 15 Newcastle games and we have a record of 14 wins and one draw. He is our lucky mascot, something will go our way with luck and we'll be OK.

He's been to all the cup games this season as well as Middlesbrough at home.
