What does the wide angle diffuser do to the flash SF20 when put on??? What angle does it cover 24 or 21 mm???? If used on TTL mode how do you compensate with the diffuser on???

Ralph,

It's onLeica website: Illumination angle for 35 mm lenses, 24 mm with diffuser screen.

No compensation needed with a TTL flash.

With TTL (assuming you are using it on an M6TTL) all you have to do is make sure your shutter speed is 1/50 or lower and that the take a glance to confirm that subject is within the distance range indicated (usually not an issue, especially with fill and most subjects). The TTL handles the rest.

The diffuser is used for 24mm and 28mm lenses. For 35 and up, you can remove the diffuser.

I use the diffuser at close distances with all lenses when doing daylight fill-in (about all the SF20 is good for IMO). It acts kind of like a softbox.
