A fun singles solution to housecleaning and socializing (maybe)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A Country Singletree : One Thread

This may be a workable solution. A woman that I have known from work for about ten years and dated a couple times since my divorce made this offer to me. We get together every two weeks for Saturday and spend the day cleaning house together, then an evening dinner and night out on the town. This way we are guaranteed one house cleaning and two dates each month. Do ya'll I ought to take her up on it or is this a trap I should steer clear of?

Who's house is getting cleaned or are you taking turns? As far as a trap goes, you know the situation best. I would say go for it. You never know..maybe she has some nice friends that you may be able to meet also.

Like any other voulentary setup if it doesn't work for you then say so!! You sure will see just what kind of housekeeper she is (and she will see yours!!)and whether or not you can work together. What can you lose, especialy since you have already dated her and should know if you want her in your home( and a closer relationship) by now!

We would alternate cleanings and date costs every two weeks.

Jay which woman is this? Is the date #1 of Valentine's day or date #2 of Valentines day? If it is date #2 of Valentine's evening, be VERY careful. You may be being set up for something you don't want to get involved in.

Susan,

She's the one from work that my ex didn't like, not the one from high school or the girl from the other side of the street.

Jay, This is sounding kinda complicated....Also what side of the street are we talking about?........And are you getting your house or your clock cleaned? Gotta get this straightened out.......hehe

Hey when it comes to women they only thing that is gauranteed to get cleaned is your wallet :) I said that with a smile so it doesn't offend all you ladies out there. Hey if we can't laugh at ourselves who can we laugh at?
