radiation from nuclear testing

What are the radiation levels near and at the event? What is the history of nuclear testing in the area of the event? Has there been any previous research done on this? if so, where can i read about it?

Answers

There we no nuclear tests near the area of Black Rock Desert Nevada. There is some very low radiation from natural deposits of Uranium in the desert and in very small quantities in the drinking water around Gerlach. All of which are not worth worrying about. The nuclear tests that were conduted in Nevada are in the southern part of the state at a place called Mercury-otherwise known as the Nevada Test Site.
