Well Chris, another interesting question. Laing is ultimate the radical psychiatrist. The whole "madness" as a sane reaction to an insane, repressed society thing impressed me as an idealistic, alienated teenager. I shall have to re-read TPOE before continuing. It would of course be nice if someone else had something to contribute...
