Source for "Grey" M lenses?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread |
I have read in the forum about buying non US lenses. Delta was mention as a source, but i cannot find ads for them. Any suggestions for lenses for my M that are cheaper and honest? Thanks

Try Don Chatterton. He's on the web. Has good new, gray and used Leica stuff. I've bought both Leica and Hasselblad from him. Good Luck.

Delta can be found at http://www.deltainternational.com/ I have dealt with them and there is no hanky panky such as bait and switch or forced un-needed accesories or selling you things they can not deliver.

Thanks for the input. I still recoil from the memory of what some NYC "dealers" where like for photo and computer stuff.I love B&H for my film but sometimes i just need to get out! Thanks again.

Tamarkin has grey market and is easy to deal with, at least over the phone as I have.

I have dealt with Rich Pinto in NYC and recommend him. His phone number is (646) 613-1107.

You might check with Tin Cheung in HK as a reference point for US gray market prices. www.tincheungcamera.com.hk
