Does anyone know how to play vcd or svcd on sharp dvd nc55 (vcr-dvd).

I thought it couldn't play them; when you put a vcd in it, the player eject it immediately. But I tried a svcd. Then the player writes VCD on the screen but eject it a few seconds after writin disk error.

If it has some ideas about what svcd and vcd are, it may play them right ?

Any ideas ?
