Todays atmoshere.

Tonight I think it should be the best atmosphere at Saint James's park this season for a long long time.

Arse have made it clear they want revenge after losing to us at highbury. It's live on Sky. We're playing our first home game after beating the Makems. A win would put us top of the league. We all hate Wenger. This morning Robbo blasted FA after not acting on what He did at highbury. A possible Re-debut for Cort.

The only thing that might spoil this is an early goal from them. But I can't see this being a normal, run of the mill football match. I feel that there will be loads of talking points afterwards. Perhaps anoher outburst from Henry (if he plays). I just think that this will be a very memorable match for one reason or another. You heard it hear first.

COME ON THE TOON!

I thougt our tactic was to let in a early goal and then run them over? Thats at least how we use to play =)

It's a complete sell out as well.

None of this 50,003 malarky, it's proper 52,000 fans willing their team on.

Enjoy the match. Even if we lose it we are still in a prime position to qualify for the Chimps League.

Come on Paul, no mention of losing although, I'm not as optimistic as usual.

We are the underdogs basically though.

When was the last time the away team at SJP didn't have worse odds to win than us?

We have absolutely zero presure - nobody expects us to win the game in the media (I haven't read a single media prediction that is a win for us, all draws and away wins)

Arsenal on the other hand are the big team who have been up there for the last 5 years. We have gatecrashed the party. Arsene Wenger has already set up excuses in case they lose - "we have a lot of injuries" etc.

I really hope this works in our favour. Ameobi hopefully will be up for the big game, at least he's got a bit of stregth to go up against Campbell.

Come on the TOON!

But the atmoshpere was still good. They can't say we didn't support the team.

The Sky commentators, who were creaming their pants over Arsenal and were biased to an extent I've not seen/heard for a good while, claimed at some point something along the lines of, "Arsenal have silenced the crowd here at St. James".

This despite plainly audible Toon chants in the background as he said it and roars of support as we went forward.

Pillocks.

It wasnt a sell out either as BottomNowt never sold all their tickets.......(pathetic part timer fans)

To be honest Steve, the atmosphere died in the 2nd half. The @rses behind me were chanting "Where's your famous atmosphere?". I think you need to come back to improve both the atmosphere and the results!

The Arse fans were dreadful too...boring as buggery although, in fairness, they invented the "shall we sing a song for you?" chant.
