Just thought you might like to know that it was Shay and John Carver who did the pre-match analysis today. Shay sounded upbeat but admitted that it would be dead hard and the important thing was not to be beaten. Carver had a "get stuck in, mix it up a bit and stick together" approach but admitted that as long as we don't get beaten tomorrow, he'd prefer to win the Cup game.

Through the magic of digital TV I managed to tune into NE tonight here in Manchester. (in fact I never watch North West news so don't have a clue what goes on here!) Shay looked like a big kid - mind after his performance last Sunday he has every right to be pleased with himself.

Bobby is on radio 5 at around 9.30 in a discussion with Monkey Heed and Steve Maclaren. I'm off out soon so if he says anything interesting - lets hope it gets posted on here.

Jacko - if you have Sky digital you can set it on your 'other channels' setting. It's very complicated but there is a way to do it. You can pick up all ITV regional stations if you so desire but so far can't get BBC NE.

Dear Jacko and Josh and Lynda I have been investigating how to get North East TV in Belgium and someone told me about the same web site. I am thinking of buying a satellite set-up at Easter time. The vital thing is that you have to get someone in the area to register the digibox and card at their name and address, because you get the TV for that region I hope this works - I cut and pasted the source code from http://www.rambo.clara.net/skyepg/fre_detailedlist.html
