Ok, I take my raw footage which is in AVI format. Convert it with TMPG to a mpeg2 format. Then bring it into Fusion. It shows me 2 files, one mpeg for footage and one for sound. I place the footage in the building window and then ( I hate this step) add my sound file now. Well The sound files never are the same length as the footage. Believe me I have tested this with other programs and the files do work. But, if I import the original avi file and take the sound file from there , it does match up withthe mpeg file. Anyone have experience with this? What are you supposed to do? Kindly explain your process, and if you convert your avi first to MPEG2, or later and what you do about adding sound files. thanks for your time.
