I have a Minolta XG1 with a Vivtar 550D flash and sometimes the camera "stalls" when I use the flash. It used to work fine but it getting worse. The camera seems to stop in mid shutter and I have now idea why. I have tried several different settings and lighting but nothing seems to be consistent. I am not experienced in photography at all. When it does stall, I found that if I push the "test" on the flash the camera will finish. Can anyone tell me if its the camera, the flash, or the photographer(me)? Thanks
