Not the makems (for once) but Fulham!Teamtwaddle - 28.02.02
Extra Spurs tickets availableThe Cottagers are putting 2,500 extra tickets on sale today for the home clash against Tottenham on Sunday, March 24.
Tickets in the Riverside Stand and Putney Terrace are on sale to Fulham FC members and are only available to callers at the Craven Cottage box office.
Fulham are introducing a complicated system to ensure tickets do not end up in the hands of touts or Spurs fans.
Supporters must show their membership cards to buy a ticket and will pay three-quarters of the fee on the spot. They will then be given a special voucher for the remaining £5.
That voucher, together with a membership card, must then be shown at the turnstile on the day of the game and the remaining £5 fee paid in cash.
Fans are being warned they must turn up to the match by 3.30pm to be allowed in with the game set for a 4pm start.

Eh? wouldn't work with us thick geordies that's for sure.

Only the Geordies would take the piss out of another club for charging it's supporters less to get in.ML³

But, if I've read this correctly, they aren't being charged less. They put down a deposit for three quarters of the price of the ticket, which must be 15 quid of a 20 quid ticket. Then when they turn up on the Saturday they pay the remaining quarter of the price, 5 quid.

There you go again, ML. ALWAYS GENERALISING.

ML - you get what you pay for :-) Unless you're a Chelsea or Spurs fan.Mick - they are £20 tickets, it's just the oddity of charging a fiver on the turnstiles that reminded me of our cousins down the way. Seems a bit silly when Fulham could just ask all fans to show ID when going through the turnstiles.
