Eye Spy by Drew Neumann!!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Aeon Flux : One Thread

Finally got the CD in the mail a couple days ago. No doubt all you AE0N F2E4KS already have it - - - anyway. Yeah, it kicks so much ass. I like train station, breen lounge lizard, monican jam, phobia suite, underwater suite, time pretzel paradox, gravity, heroes, computera -all really cool. I mean, you really DO feel like a spy when you listen to all this spazzy-electronic music; it's an awesome double CD... should go out and buy it if you don't already have it!

Aeon's theme always sound fresh and electric, no matter how many times I hear it. Monican Jam and Breen Lounge Lizard are the height of style. I start to 'slink' around the house for no good reason at all whenever I listen to it.

Surfing the channels tonight I landed on the Discovery Channel. Didn't know why I stayed there, the show was called Cemeteries. The scene I stopped on wasn't at all to my interest; it was one of an interview with a man explaining the new modern marvels of cremation, and the camera was focused on a particle board casket slowly entering the furnace, controlled by multiple computer-run stages. What held my attention was subconsciously I stopped on a dime for the music, which seemed comfortable and then in horror I realized I totally knew it, for it was verbatim Drew Neumann's "Dark Prison". Drew: hope you got paid for this. Was yours, and beautiful it was....in spite of the footage it was chosen (slyly) for.

I ordered it from here:

A NAME="Buy this now!" HREF="http://store.yahoo.com/one/eyespy.html" TARGET="Buy this now!">http://store.yahoo.com/one/eyespy.html

Takes a while to ship. Wonderful music! Wish they kept the lyrics in the Dangerboy song though... -_-

Muchas gracias, fellas. I knew about that website already, but several attempts to contact them (to inquire if the CD was, indeed, still available) were unsuccessful. But if it worked for one or more of you guys... Anyway, thanks again!

This CD is one of the prizes of my collection :) A year ago I thought I'd lost it and I went NUTS trying to find it, but couldn't... ended up finding it six months later when I cleaned out my CD spinner and found it stuck over the top of the spindle! Fortunately it was still in great shape... and I've had mp3s encoded of the thing for ages anyway ;)

Just got an image of a tiny Aeon scaling the walls of a CD spinner, spying on the unknowing listener ^_^

Barb, maybe you should have watched it until the end... maybe they mentioned Drew Neumann in the credits. :)
