I've had one on order, for over 2 months now, from my local dealer in Indonesia. His supplier is in Hong Kong, AFAIK. I'd be grateful for any information.

They seem to be in short supply in S.E. Asia. I got mine (2nd in line) after a 2 month wait last autumn (so to speak, on the equator), and my shop, Cathay Photo, says the next guy in line is still waiting and has not found one in Hong Kong either.

Leica USA has back-order of more than 2000, that is two thousand, I think it will be sometime before that number is satisified.

Ray, i am also waiting for mine, comming from HK to USA then to me in Australia. Where in Indo can you get Leica without the doggyness or coruption- from Suharto himself? What do you do there. You mentioned a while ago that you've been living there a while. I just got back from there a month ago now. My fiance is from Jember, jawa Timor.
