I was wondering if anyone knows if the panasonic dvd rv20 will work with homeaid vcds?? im not sure if im not making them correctly or if its just my player. Is there anything special you have to do to the mpeg before you add it to nero and burn it???

www.vcdhelp.com has a DVD player compatibility list that tells if your DVD player likes CD-R and CD-RW media. Many players won't play burnable media, but you'll have to look at the list to see if your player is one of them. If your MPEG files passes compliance checking in Nero, then it's probably OK. If the compatibility list says your player supports CD-R but yours still won't, try another brand. All CD-Rs are not the same and some brands work better in some players than others. I generally recommend that people avoid using cheap, no name brands where you get something like a stack of 50 for 10 bucks.

THE RV20 WILL PLAY VCD'S ONLY ON CD-RW DISKS. THE QUALITY OF THE DISK MUST BE GOOD. I HAVE HAD GOOD PLAYBACK WITH THE BRAND KAO. I THINK THAT THEY WENT OUT OF BUISNESS, BUT I USE THE DISK OVER & OVER AGAIN. YOU CAN ALSO TRY MEMOREX RW'S BUT THE CD SKIPS MORE OFTEN THAN KAO CD- RW'S. GOOD LUCK
