Busy. I worked most of Saturday. But - we painted the living room yesterday! It looks so nice. We went with the light green, and now Chris is all fearless about painting the other rooms. Yay! We'll probably do the guest room next, and we definitely want to paint the dining room before we get any furniture in there (which probably won't be for at least six months, but still.)

So. I have an event at the Capitol here on Friday, and one in South Carolina on Monday. And I'm going to Baton Rouge on Wednesday, just for the afternoon. That's my week.

We went to Nashville Saturday and got back last night around 10. So tired. But we had a great time and, of course, now we want to move there. The MOC and I are crazy people.

But, you know, we're thinking maybe we should stay in one place for a while.

By the way, y'all. Just FYI to be kept between MATH only: Pam's dad died this morning. So sad. She was there this weekend with him, and they had a really nice time, apparently, so that's good. He was extremely ill and had stated to everyone that he was very ready (after 10 years struggling with cancer and kidney failure) to give up the fight. But, still, it's awful.

Poor Pam. Give her my condolences. Stee was there with her too, right? I'm sure that made it a little easier.

Well, I think she'll be glad that he was there to be around her dad a little.

I haven't talked to her, but I might tonight.

Wow, that's awful. Is she OK?

Mike! Smackign down WG in the Olympics thread. Hee. You called her Sailor.

-- Anonymous, February 25, 2002

I'm sorry to hear that - ten years is a long time to watch someone you love suffer through such awful illnesses.

You called her Sailor.

I know! I thought I was pretty damned funny!

Mike - I also deleted your new theme song thread as we already had a thread like that. One YOU started, fool.

Poor WG. Always WGing herself. Even her gross Smoker boyfriend probably gets annoyed with her WGness.

I live how she WG's herself in the Pleased As Punch thread. Classic WG.

Y'all, anthropologie is hiring a copywriter. But would I really want to live in Philly?THAT is the question.

-- Anonymous, February 25, 2002

I like Philly -- but then again, I have family there. I think it depends on where you live there.

I've never been. But from what I've heard the best thign about it is that NYC is only 2 hours away.

T - did you hear that Kimi got engaged?!

-- Anonymous, February 25, 2002

I've never been there, but Chris likes it alot. Good Italian restaurants, and such.

That's great news about Kim! Anne Klein is engaged, too.

I know. It's crazy.
