Does the Eos 7e have a pc socket style release for electronic studio flash or must you use those insufferable hot shoe sockets.?

I just use the on camera flash to trigger the strobes.

have it in plain TTL or manual. set the compensation to -2

should work fine. I did that on my maxxum 7 all the time. and I just did it on my A2E
