Shipping Containers for Live Poultry

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Freedom! self reliance : One Thread

I am trying to figure out "how to" ship -- Poulty, Ducks, ect... I have talked w/the Post Office on cost and such, but am having a problem with the shipping containers. The following site -- www.hm-e.net/ sells them, but the prices!! Yikes!

To purchase the container to ship a duck, for example, the best I can tell, will be around $25.00 ~~ just for the container. Is this right? Any help would be very much appreciated!
