I hate derbies (real ones - I don't mind NUFC v Boro). In fact I'm thinking of going for a walk instead of watching this one.

Have to do that more often: sorry Lynda, had to drop something off at a mate's in Whitley Bay in any case.

Mind, it was like the classic Likely Lads episode walking round the Bay. No way could I have avoided what was going on, what with the noise from the pubs.

For the record I was walking past the tattoo shop on Station Road when Nick the Greek scored.
