One cannot get true test results for Hip Dysplasia until a Standard Poodle has reached 24 months of age.The vets say the bones are not developed properly till 2 years of age. But persons are still breeding and using for stud young Standard Poodles under that age. Yes you can get earlier Xrays done,but why but the poodle through that? Anyone who has the breed at heart will surely let their poos enjoy their young years,and make certain they have fully matured in body before breeding,and then not breeding them to death.
