Something is really bothering me big time. I have no idea what it is, which is even more frustrating, cause I can analyze anything and everything and be right 98% of the time. But not this. There's several things that could add to it, but I just can't figure this out. And I usually don't talk about this kind of stuff, but this is almost overwhelming. It's accompanied by great sadness, which is not me. Anyway, I guess I just need to dump so I did, all prayers appreciated. Understanding needed, encourgement accepted. Thanks for listening.

Prayers given. That's done. Now, maybe it's the weather??? I've noticed and had mentioned to me, a lot of depression, both big and small, which seems to be weather-related. Soak up some sunshine. It can't hurt. Blessings for, as Diane says, enough.

Hi Cindy, I will keep you in my prayers. It is most likely just the winter dodrums we all suffer fromevery once in a while. Maybe you need to try something new or do something a little different or out of routine. That usually helps me...

It's not depression-a lot different more like mourning. Melancholy doesn't fit either. The weather's been too nice here for the doldrums. Maybe I can figure it out by figuring out what it isn't, Thanks.

I've been there, Cindy, and understand how you feel. Anxiety is can be a terribly heavy load. Just giving it over to the Lord is a hard thing to do when you don't know what it is to give it over. Ask the Holy Spirit to intervene. That is what He is there for...the great comforter! Your in my thoughts and prayers.

Cindy, sometimes we don't know what is troubling us or why. Know that this to shall pass. Work thru it as best you can, asking for strength and guidance along the way. I have found these times are necessary even though we wish it would all go away. Many times understanding only comes much later. You are lifted up in my prayers. Been there sister.....God Bless!

Cindy, follow your instincts! If you feel a sense of mourning, something may be changing in your life without you being consciously aware of it. I really believe that God gives us many gifts. I sometimes get preminitions(sp?) and I've learned to listen to them. Watch, wait and pray for guidence. God bless!

Cindy there is times this happes to me to not very often .I cant explain it but I feel like know one understands me or thinks that I am wierd. I love god and thank him daily but that dos not answer why me . I love being outdoors working in the garden ,working with the livestock or building new buildings or working in my woodshop but sometimes it seems like I am alone when no one else cares about the homestead way of life . I do love what the good lord gave to us all and that is the beauty of this world and his son who died for me. Your Country Friend Jack Bunyard

Sweet Lady--have you gotten in the chemicals of some sort & not realized it??????? Ya know sometimes when I have gotten into the chemicals & not full blown ---knock me down chemical poisioning----I have a weird feeling-----just not myself & nothing seems to be just right---kind of panic-----almost panic attacks---just a thought???? Love to you---Sonda

I feel the same way sometimes. The first thought that popped into my head when I read your post is that you should go sit in the sun. The last time I had a relapse of fibromyalgia the doctor told me to sit in the sun for at least 10 min. every day. It's worth a try and feels great too!

Cindy-you could be having a bout of end of winter blues, but its also possable you might be having some delayed stress reaction-possibly to 9-11 or some other event? Sometimes these reactions don't show up til months or even years later.

How long have you felt like this? I'd follow the advice given- get some fresh air and sunshine, check to see if you may have been exposed to something nasty, spend some extra time in prayer, church or talking with your minister or fellow church members. Do something fun and/or relaxing. But if it keeps up for more than say, a couple of weeks, my advice is to check in with a doctor or mental health councilor. If it is an axeity attack, delayed stress reaction or depression, there are many temporary, lowdosage medications that can help you feel a lot better. Why go around miserable when you could feel better? and these meds are NOT adictive, and maybe, you just need to talk to somebody. I wouldn't be at all surprised if its not a delayed stress reaction to 9-11-sometimes it takes months or years for that to show up. Anyway, I trully hope you begin to feel better soon.

Through all of your suggestions, I've looked at it all over again, I'm sure it's not the sun/winter thing. We haven't had much winter and we've had lots of sunshine. I'm not depressed. Having been agoraphobic most of my life, I know it's not anxiety/panic attacks. Sonda, I've been doing really well staying out of chemicals until this morning. But I did get to sit through church.

I started feeling less sad after I posted this yesterday, so I'm sure your payers have been helpful.

I'm still working on it.

Thanks and God Bless
