Anybody know how to play the dictionary game?

We used to sit around with a dictionary, scrap paper, and pen/pencils. One person would call out an unusual word; everyone else would write down what they thought it meant and pass the slips of paper to the one that picked the word, who would read the slips, then the real definition. The part I don't remember is how to keep score.

Cathy,

That is now an official game called Scattegories. In this game the players all right down their definition of the word. Then the word selector reads the definitions along with the real one. Each player votes on their choice for the correct definition. If a player gets the correct definition, they get a point. You also get a point for every player that picked your definition as the correct one. Hope this is clear, e-mail me if you have any questions. My kids love to play this game, and we have played it at many church fellowships. It is fun even with a large group.
