Cheap books & Videos

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Style Homesteading : One Thread

Anyone looking for books or videos online should try www.half.com. It's an e-bay company. You'll get a choice of new and or used items. The shipping is less than most companies also. I use them regularly even for hard to find books and I love 'em. On your first order you can even get a $5.00 credit. Just have someone who uses them to send you the link or email me and I'll send it to you!

I like half.com too; (especially the prices!) and use it quite a bit (Hubs would say "too much!) From older gardening and homesteading books, to new release novels - can't beat the prices. I've always gotten my books a lot faster than promised; and they've always been in as good or better than advertised condition - and did I mention the prices?!

Go take a look; and if you can't find the book you're looking for; make sure to click on "other works by this author" or "related subjects" - I've found several books that I didn't even know I needed that way!

I just purchsed Carla Emery's book for only 6 bucks including shipping. The E-bay cost was way over my head in the auction there. Have some great buys...but I never got the $5 discount ???

Dear Wendy and everyone else reading this. To get the $5.00 first order credit you have to follow a link sent to you by a half.com customer BEFORE you place your first order. Get one of your friends or me to email the link to you!

I've both bought and sold on half.com and it is great. Be sure to check out the seller's rating before placing your order.
