I don't get it. Is that a question or an answer? If so, to what?

I think he's excited about another "zoom" with a Leica M bayonet mount, like the Tri-Elmar. A nice engineering accomplishment, but if I really liked zooms, I would use an SLR not an RF camera. There are plenty of good SLR zooms with greater range and larger apertures. Thisis not the strength of Leica M or Konica RF.

I'll take that, Eliot. (Your answer, that is.) Thanks.

Agreed, the Tri-elmar is too slow, too big, doesn't focus near enough and seems to have an in-built mechanical linkage problem.

It's Not a Tri-elmar.It's a M-Hexanon and It's not big and not slow www.konica.co.jp/hexarrf/index_1 .htm

f/3.4-4 sounds pretty slow to me!

$1550 for a 21-35 ain't too bad even if it is slow. But, it's a limited collector's item in Japan.Dream, dream, dream.......

Hello Richard. The 21 to35 mm. concept is good and will not in my opinion end up an ephemeral design. It's undoubted advantage over the reflex 21 to 35mm. is in super accurate rangerfinder focusing capability at the 21mm. setting, especially in lower light. Regards.
