My thought about this is that it is probably a waste of time for two reasons. Celebrities are going to show up based upon the relationship they have with the person who invited them. Sending out emails to people who don't know you is unlikely to work. Secondly, the addresses are most likely going to someone's assistant or publicist and not the celebrity themselves. I beleive that it would be far more worthwhile to focus on people we know and following up with them, especially at this late date.
