Stuff-a-roo from the old hillbilly. [Why yes there's some preachin!]

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

The old hillbilly had a brane storm tother day. After havin a look see in the grocery stores and noticin that water is sellin for a buck a gallon it got me to think'n. Spring fed mineral water! I will have a little looksee into that venture. I have available to me a spring with mineral water. Don't know if it would be feasable but believe I could raise some cash for His work, buy shippin this water to whoever wanted it. Four gallons to the case for $10 per case plus UPS. What do ya'll think? Oh well, it was a thought!

Anticipatin the approach of springtime and warm weather. I'm so sick and tired of bein sick and tired that I could scream. If'n I did--why it'd only put frite in old calvin! REkon I"ll just take a nap and hope everything is ok when I wake up.

I do have one complaint tho----just in case ya'll think I don't have many thoughts of my own. I went to the Grocerystore today for a handful of grub. I've been meanin to talk about this for a spell but senior moments have prevented it. Have ya'll ever noticed the packages of fresh Chicken, pork, beef and turk that's packaged at the store? It makes me irate to pick up a pack of fresh meat and find it contains a bunch of bloody water! Of course the meat has a "pad" underneath it that soaks up the excess liquid but there's always a bunch left over! That "pad" weighs and is included in the net weight of the meat. It's a shame that the stores have to be so greedy to steal a few pennies from the customer. I think it's called "theft by deception"! Ok, I"m down off my soapbox.

Please remember to keep our leaders in our prayers. They sure do need it! OLd hoot. Matt.24:44
