Strawberry bread

Just thought I would share this recipe.

Strawberry bread

3 eggs, 2 cups sugar, 2 cups strawberrys, mashed. 1 1/2 cups cooking oil 3 cups flour, 2 teas cinnamon, 2 teas. baking powder, 1/2 teas baking soda, 1/2 teas. salt.

Grease and lightly flour two loaf pans. beat eggs with electric mixer, until thick and creamy, Add sugar, beat about 1 min. Add mashed berries and oil beating on low speed, Stir together flour cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to berry mix. stirring just until moistened. Bivide batter evenly between prepared pans. Bake in a 350 oven, about 50 min. or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 mins. Losedn edges with narrow metal spatula, Remove from pans cool completely on wire rack Wrap and store overnight before slicing. This bread sells real good at bazars and church sells

WOW,the recipe sounds great! I have been looking for a strawberry bread for my cake in a jar. I have done quite a few different cake in a jar and this sounds perfect. All of which have lasted over a year and never had mold or any problems. I really enjoy recipes that are seasonal fruit,my family loves them. Thank you so much--Loretta
