Many of you will have this nice predictive text feature on your mobile phones (you type "Newcastle" and it leaps ahead and types "5") and will recognise it as a mxd blssng.I was discussing this with Gibbo after the Man City game last night and wondering if anyone had ever written a msg which came out with an entirely different meaning due to the wrong words being chosen by the PT.

As luck would have it, Gibbo has contacted me tonight to say that he has just texted his girlfriend and suggested that they "in out soon" as opposed to go out soon. Well I don't suppose too much was lost in the translation there. :-)

Anyone got any similar yarns?

no but I did go into the autocorrect function of one of the guys who worked for me and inserted an extra bit. A few days later he proudly produced spell checked, laminated set of work instructions with 12 occurences of "netwrok". He couldn't believe he had typed so badly.
