I hope I am proved wrong about this but it is unlikely that we will win both Arsenal games, bearing in mind they haven't lost away all season. So which game is more important the league game or the cup game?? If I had a choice I'd prefer us to win the cup game and draw the league one, of course winning both would be most excellent. I just don't think we are capable of doing both.

I was thinking about this last night....league then cup for me, If we win the cup game we aren't guanteed to win the cup but if we win the league game then we're guaranteeing ourselves a higher league placing...almost ;))

There's just something about the FA cup for me.

I've grown up with tales of winning the cup, the glorious fifties, Jackie Milburn et al, and I want something to tell my grandchildren. I know that the League is more important, says more about your team, financially is far better, yes, I know all of this but I'd gladly lose to Arse in the League if it meant getting to the semis and another chance at glory.

So, I admit, I AM one of those romantic idiots who would prefer winning the cup to the league.

If we cannot win both the home games against the Arsenal I'd take a home win in the league and then a draw in the cup, going on to win the replay at Highbury.

We would both suffer if their was a replay, but Arsenal would have a horrendous fixture congestion thro all the CL games too. As they lose 10% of their players thro' sending offs, the more ganmes the merrier I would ahve thought.
