Does anybody know how much the subject hood would intrude into the M3 viewfinder?

I had to get the M3, 50 cron and B&W Rubber hood out and try it. I have one of these hoods but generally use the 12585 or 12538 with the cutout. If I frame the 17 inch monitor on my desk top it cuts off the lower right corner for about 3" into the picture. To me this would not be critical but only slightly annoying. Could make for some surprises in that corner. Good luck.
