Since Spike isn't around, I thought I could satisfy your undoubtedly burning curiosity about what happened in the race today. First a bunch of cars went around the oval track real fast. They did that a bunch of times. Sometimes the cars got too close and there were collisions and lots of smoke and dust. Eventually the race was over when some dude got the famous checkered flag and won. He got to shake champaign and spray it everywhere all over the people standing by him, just like the winners get to do at the Possum Trot. And that was pretty much it.

I found a re-run of the Daytona 500 on "Speedvision" last night. So, I watched about 30 laps or so. I only watched during the breaks in the short track speed skating.
