Back from Greece - 16/02/2002

I am always happy when I get to play for the national team, even if it is just a friendly game. The "full house" at Thessaloniki made me even happier. It seems that the fans are now more willing to support the team. As far as the game was concerned it's one of these games that you have to go through to find out your weaknesses and then take the necessary actions.

Unfortunately I picked up an injury during the game and I am not sure whether I will get to play on Sunday against Manchester City. They are the best Division 1 team and they will surely try to give us a hard time. At the end of the day they have nothing to lose, it's just one game anything can happen. However I do believe that our team is in a good shape and that we will manage to qualify to the next stage.
